1. Controller

Asset Pilot is published by CONNECT TO SRL, a company governed by Belgian law, whose registered office is located at Warandeberg 65, 1970 Wezembeek-Oppem, Belgium, registered under VAT number BE0649.998.582. CONNECT TO SRL is the controller for account, subscription and website data used to provide Asset Pilot.

For inventory records entered by a customer in its workspace, that customer generally acts as controller and CONNECT TO SRL acts as processor, subject to the applicable agreement.

2. Data we process

  • Account and identity information, including name, email and authentication settings.
  • Company and billing information supplied during registration or administration.
  • Workspace inventory data, including companies, locations, owners, assets, accessories and licenses.
  • Security, audit, session and technical logs.
  • Support and feedback communications.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Data is processed to create and secure accounts, provide the service, isolate workspaces, support customers, invoice subscriptions, prevent abuse, maintain audit trails and comply with legal obligations. Depending on the processing, the legal basis is performance of a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation or consent.

4. Recipients and processors

Data is available only to authorized users and personnel who need it. Carefully selected hosting, email, database, invoicing and technical providers may process limited data on CONNECT TO SRL's instructions. Data is not sold.

5. Retention

Account and workspace data is retained while the service is active and for a limited period afterwards where required for recovery, security, invoicing or legal obligations. Backup copies expire according to controlled retention schedules. Final periods must be documented before production publication.

6. Security

Asset Pilot uses workspace isolation, access controls, password hashing, optional two-factor authentication, persistent secured sessions, audit logs, soft deletion and tenant backup tools. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR and applicable Belgian law, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent where applicable. Requests concerning customer-managed inventory should normally be addressed first to the relevant customer organization.

8. International transfers

If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, an appropriate legal transfer mechanism and safeguards will be used where required.

9. Contact and complaints

Privacy contact: privacy@assetpilot.eu. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
